The customer likes the individuality of the fancy shapes, but their attention repeatedly returns to the Round.

GIA currently gives its overall Cut grade only to standard Round Brilliant diamonds in the D-to-Z colour range. Fancy-shaped diamonds do not receive the same overall Cut grade.
